Lifejackets are those orange padded vests people people wear when they are new swimmers, or when they venture out into deep or dangerous waters. They are also called life preservers because they save lives - and that's the idea behind our monthly LIFEJACKET series. Lifejackets aren't just for new Christians. The deeper we launch into our relationship with Christ, the choppier the waters get. The key to walking on water and staying afloat is, like Peter quickly learned, to trust His Word and keep your eyes on Jesus. The timeless truth of the Bible is what will save each and every one of us if we embrace it -every day, everywhere - like a LIFEJACKET.
LIFEJACKET (usually the 3rd Friday of every month - check our events calendar to be sure) is a time of Bible study, exploration and life-application for the young person and student in Middle School/Jr. High, High School, College & Career, following a brief time of worship. Study is interactive, and dress is casual.
